My buddy has a 04 cummins and he is wondering what is the BEST chip for MILEAGE hes not looking for HP gain or anything he is bone stock and asked me what the best chip would be, I don't know but I know you all know so what is the best chip for mileage increase? I believe is the early 04 model not 04.5

any chip on tow setting would probobly be better than stock program, i run the bully dog on tow and it works well seems to add about 2mpg

alot of companies make chips just for mileage. check out edge and quadzilla for starters. i also agree with jfranklin, but if he's not looking for power the mileage chips are cheaper than a performance chip and they still and around 50 ponies.eelout
