Well its time to lift my truck, I'm tired of rubbing! This truck will never be off-highway, so I want something that rides good ( for a big heavy truck). I was on here a couple weeks ago to see what everone thought about how big I could go with my current set-up a look ok. (20x10 w/33x12.50) Well I will never go bigger then 35" so I want to stay at 5" or under. Any pics to help out would be great along with any advise on all the different brands. I really like the 4" Pure Performance kit, but I dont know the brand that well.
Thanks

How about fabtech 4.5". I have heard good things but don't know first hand. Hell I wish I could make up my mind between 35's and 37's. I know what one looks better but I still do hauling and towing and don't want to have to add a bunch so it is still usable

I agree... Look at Dunks as well. For a street ride the Bilsteins are really nice. I've also heard good things about Edelbrock shocks as well. One thing that is nice about Fox, King, and Sway-a-way is that you can have them revalved to suit your needs.

I'm a bit surprised that 33's rub with a level kit. Too much offset maybe?

In most cases the rubbing is because of incorrect wheel BS, and 4" of lift with the same wheels will probably leave you with the same rubbing problems.

Yes, my wheels have a 5 or 5.5 offset, more then I wanted but the price was right. It is rubbing at full lock on the bottom of the finder (cab side). It is just at the very bottom where it rolls in to the pinch, so I figured a couple more inches will clear it and look alot better.

If your tires are just barely rubbing the pinch weld, the lift should help with that, but you will probably have the same rubbing problems if you move up to 35's.

Wheels with 5-5.5" BS would normally have no problem fitting 35's with 4" of lift, but it's the fact that your wheels are 10" wide that is giving you the rubbing problem.

Warlock06 is right about hearing about carli

titan's setup is great for on road and light offroading but Pure performance makes some nice quality stuff for a good price.

topguncustomz are a distributor for PP and can give you some good advice on their kits.

ask anyone on here about carli or feel free to give Jesse a call at carli.

if you lift the truck more and dont extend the control arms you will probably continue to rub since the tires will be pulled closer to the cab. Pure performance does have some good adjustable arms.
