So I saw what I thought was a weird thing today...a 2nd gen cummins dually that was stock except for...stacks. But here is the weird part...they were mounted maybe less than a foot infront of the rear axle in the bed...so they were about 2-3 feet away from the cab. I wish I could have gotten a picture but he was going the other way on the freeway

maybe he had just pulled the sleeper off...

Yeah, my first thought is that he had put them there because he was using the bed for something.

he probably had a tool box in the truck

no it was a qc lwb. And usually if you have a tool box you mount it after the stacks. And there was a big gap. I was thinking sleeper too but it made me giggle
