i bought my 2010 used privately, it had 16000km when i bought it. shortly after i bought it i started hearing this "thump" then i let off the throttle at 50km or more, you can kinda feel it in the driver side floor board and kinda hear it as well. any ideas what it could be? kinda annoying.

sometimes i notice this on mine as well.. kind of a thump on the drivers side floor, but it's done it for a year since i got it.. i hate that your truck has it to though.. i just assumed it was my mud flap banging, but now i'm gonna be worried...

Not sure if the 2010's have the same set up under the back seats as a 2008.
If it has an elastic with a snap to hold down the cover under the seat, check it and see if its undone....Mine was undone when I first got my truck and believe it or not it took me over a week to find the exact same noise....LOL
I felt pretty stupid after I knew what it was, but it would only happen at the correct speed/bump.

Took my truck in for the recalls, L16 and the power steering cap. I told the mechanic about the thump noise, he said he took it for a drive but couldn't hear/feel it. I got the truck back and its still there. He said he checked all the front end u joints and they are all good. hmm.

Ive had something similar on my 08 for about 2 years. Only seems to happen when the underside of the truck gets wet from driving. Weird i know. But once the truck gets some moisture underneath it will bump if i brake hard or turn the wheels hard while in a slow turn such as a parking spot or driveway. Especially of its a little bit off camber manuever such as a driveway with a curb. You can hear it over the radio in the cab and also feel it in the floor. Ive had it back to 2 different dealers about 5 times and no one can help me. Both finally just said to bring it back when it breaks. Hopefully it wont wreck me when it happens. Mine was built one month before the latest recall so they wont look it over for that. Im thinking of trying the track bar nut adjustment that is in the recall anyways just to see if maybe its slipping when it gets wet?

Look at engine supports for clearance and loose. Exhaust clearance. Suspension components loose or worn, ect.
