I took out the juice and downloaded Smarty Revo. Power is good, incredible even, However How do I get the turbo to spool without stopping traffic behind me with a thick cloud of black smoke.

thanks

You make it sound like its a bad thing.:lol3:
thats what i was thinking
if you dont want smoke leave it stock

just stack the edge and smarty and let it fly
You could always get a more mild chip?
bigger turbo
and nitro:peelout
Check his sig guys....Think he already has a Silver 62 turbo
just dont look in your mirrors.........:peelout
I've got TNT and refuse to turn it lower than #9 so I just take off really slow:lol3: Having all that smoke on command actually helped my fuel mileage!

lower the TQ management, smaller turbo, or looser converter..... a larger turbo will fog worse
I am about to ditch the smarty and go back to the hot juice. I cannot run the smarty on any level without it pouring out black smoke. The edge juice with control over low boost fuel is much better for daily driving. I can control smoke and still have lots of power once I get it spining.
Hey Bob how about a program for enviormentaly friendly power
this shoulndt bve a problem w/ a diesel owner lol i love the way i stop traffic w/ the smoke ......... i plan on smokin out a little honda civic my friend thinks will run w/ my truck tonight lol
Smoke can be useful, yes I agree, However I would like to have a choice. there is a big difference between mashing the throttle to leave a ricer in a cloud, and barely pressing the throttle trying to pull away from a stoplight without drawing attention.
Sounds like you are better off with Edge Attitude w/Juice than the Smarty. If you find yourself wanting more power than the 120hp level 5, get the hot unlock code for an additional 180hp. I did exactly that and it was WELL worth the $100 for the code. On top of that I stacked a Striker 2 pressure module. This module offers in-cab adjustability and several different power levels (E, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5) for up to additional 65hp (same as EZ, but the Striker 2 is a fraction of the cost plus on-the-fly control).

Setting the Juice on #3 and the Striker 2 on #5 gives you the same power as the Juice alone on #5, but with the added low end response offered by the pressure module. With the Juice on #6 and the Striker 2 on #5 you have well in excess of an additional 200+hp all with in-cab adjustability. As you said, you can adjust your low boost fueling so you have little tip in smoke or a TON of tip in smoke all with the touch of a button.

With the Juice on 6x5 and the Striker 2 on #5 though, you can REALLY put up a smoke screen if you want to!:)

dont push the pedal down so far? i run around with 200 extra programmed hp 24/7/365 and yeah if i am not careful everyone is dying behind me but just use them finer motor skills
or lighter boots
barely pressing the throttle trying to pull away from a stoplight without drawing attention.
