I went to drain mine today, with the instrctions someone on here gave me. The yellow "switch" on the lower front of the fuel filter canister. When I did this a buch of something came out? I thought it would just be water, but it smelt like diesel. Is this normal? And do I just leave it open until it stops draining??
All you did was drain the fuel filter, if there was water in it it would have been on the bottom and came out first. Close the valve and turn the key on but don't start it just let the elect fuel pump refill the filter.
ditto, i use a large carona bottle, seem to be popular around here lol. it will also hold all the diesel in the pod when changing your filter
