All you did was drain the fuel filter, if there was water in it it would have been on the bottom and came out first. Close the valve and turn the key on but don't start it just let the elect fuel pump refill the filter.

Yeah man your good. No worries! A good way to see if there is any water in the mixture is to put it in a clear container and let it settle for a bit. The diesel will float on the water.

ditto, i use a large carona bottle, seem to be popular around here lol. it will also hold all the diesel in the pod when changing your filter
