Getting ready to start ordering stuff for the new engine. Need to know what kind of pistons? how much will the rods hold? 60# spring work? What kind fuel pump? 12mm or 14mm studs?

going to be running around 700hp on big single turbo.

Pistons: stock or marine for 25*+ timing or 370s

Rods: stock will hold 1000+

60lbs VS should be enough

12mm pump set to 400cc will be enough

Go 12mm studs, 625s if youre worried. 14s aren't that much better, and some have problems with how they are cut, they need to be drilled and tapped really well

Get a P&P'd head

better go for an aurora 5000 if you want a strong single turbo, they move alot more air than a 66mm or get a modifed S400 of some kind it will hold up alot longer

500-550cc's, Mahle monotherm steel pistons, 12mm studs top and bottom with a Woodruff girdle and an S400 with a Tial v-band stainless turbine housing and log manifold with an external riser. But that is just me...

I guess I'm not very good at converting cc's to horsepower

well mine isnt a 12v so maybe different worlds but it makes around 50-60 psi of boost. some guys can make 65/70 with them but they dont live long. if you have the fuel it will make the power you want trust me :thumbsup

A5000 is somewere in the 50 range. Good turbo for that power level but a little too pricy for me. I have the same size whell and mine has mande 856 so it should be able to get you there. looks like everyone has gooten you some great ideas to get you there.

If your going to run a single, I would say you might want to look into a water/meth set up. It will help keep the motor cool and gain you some power! They are relitivly simple and worth the money.

I think fire rings would be a good idea just because it realy not that much more to get them.

Good luck and keep us posted!
