I hope I don't get flamed for that title. Anyway, I was wondering if any company out there, or individual that sells any software to manipulate the calibration codes of the Cummins ECM. Me and a buddy tried for a while but it all failed. I was thinking more or less of software that lets you fine tune your fuel maps, ignition maps, injection pressure maps, etc. To have complete control of the calibration with a real time programmer and datalogger. Can you imagine how cool it would be to get 35 mpg on a six cylinder diesel? Just some of my thoughts out there. I'm tired of high fuel prices. Let me know what you guys think.

What do have that 4bta in. 38mph is pretty good.
I have mine in a dodge 1500 2wd short bed regular cab 3.5 rear 30" tire and .69 over drive and I only get 33mpg on the highway and 27 around town. What are you doing to get that kind of mileage?
Why do you want a 6cyl.
