I have an 02 that I’ve been having trouble with. It’s been throwing map sensor and apps codes and I was just wondering if my pump might be on its way out. Every so often all of my throttle response will cut out for about 5 seconds but it seems to come back when I push the clutch in. I read that this may be a symptom, but it’s not having any other symptoms. It starts and idles good, not rough or anything so I just would like to know if anyone thinks I might need a new pump or just maybe a tpps. Thanks.

Welcome. Clean all battery terminals. Bad or dirty terminals cause low voltage to the sensors causing dead pedal and codes.. I mean completely shiny metal to metal connections and no corrosion in cables or clamps.

If you have bad grounds (and more than likely you do, as this is all too common in these trucks) you will get all sorts of codes.
I or we have a new term for this
Renew your grounds.

What have you done to troubleshoot the map and app sensor codes? Both those things can cause your exact issue.
