My 98.5 24v is leaking a ton of Diesel from a rounded head bolt looking thing on the underside of the VP44. Does anyone have any clue what this is? and how i can fix it? thanks and happy holidays

Sounds like you may have a bad squash washer, or a copper washer. Pull bolt out and make sure you have two copper colored washers on each side of bolt

Which fuel line connects to it? From filter or return line? It sounds like your describing the schrader valve used to get lp pressure.

so you got a cover leaking...I see 2 torx screws holding it on.

looks like about a T-20 maybe T-25.

you need a torx driver or torx bit to pull the two screws, then replace the gasket in there, or make a new gasket with gasket paper or RTV for it...seal it up and call it good.

you can always get a telescopic mirror to help you see the bottom...
