any body ???
Yes, Good to go that way S.O to H.O. Cannot go H.O to S.O though.
I think you have that backwards....he is wanting to go from an ho to an so.
and yeah you can.. i have a scheid so pump on my 01 ho 6spd works great and i believe theyre rated at a higher hp too
many people have done it. you will lose a little bit of bottom end, but gain top end.
Mine has an SO...works just fine.
HO to SO is just fine, except if both are odd day builds it will quit every other odd day. Ha Ha.

When you say you lose a little bit on the bottom, how much are we talking. I don't run my truck much over 2,000 rpm. I use it mostly for pulling and mostly in mountain grades. Would I notice my habits have to change to run my truck in higher rpms for equal performance? Did any of this make sense? By the way I'm in the market for a vp 44 mine crapped the bed.
the reason i asked is a buddy has a used SO from a rollover he siad i can have for cheap he plans pulling the engine and doing a p pump and putting it in his chevy
be nice to have a spare . and for 100 bucks seems ok to me
youd probably be a fool not to get it for that price especially if you know it works. i sold mine to a local shop for 150 broken just because it was an ho pump..
