I have an 04 Cummins owned since brand new just noticing when I start her up
(warm weather) the volt meter it dropping for a few seconds… down more than usual
Note : batteries are both only a few months old terminals are good , did just replace alternator wire to battery .. r/side
Also volt meter does jump right up to 14-14.5 just something new I’ve noticed

Most likely it's your grid heater kicking on. That would be normal. IIRC they kick on at or below 66°

That’s what I thought too but you know how usually you see it cycle ….. this is dropping…. Then comes right up
I was thinking to check the rest of battery cables too ….
we all know our lovely 04’ rust/ corrosion issues 🤦🏻‍♂️
Easiest get a independent multimeter check voltages. B+ should match everywhere ,+/- 0.2 volts.
