I have the XRT pro and want to unlock the DVD Navigation system so i can use it while driving, the unlock code is available on H&S website but it says the XRT pro won't support the code. Is there any other way to unlock my Nav without having to buy a minimax??? Thanks.

To be able to enter in GPS location addresses while moving rather than having to come to a complete stop and/or watch movies I think its worth it. Was $200 but I guess the price went up? was the same as unlock code for the H&S programmers but that code only works on certain model radios.

I know that on some of the radios you can reflash to an earlier firmware and have the nav/dvd options enabled while driving. I forget the models/years, but I found it doing a search for mygig firmware on google.

If you do long trips the video in motion is very much worth it. I use it to keep me awake after working all day and then having to drive 11 hours.

I use my iPad and can download movies, tv shows, etc and the screen is thousand times better and the sound goes over my stereo with the Bluetooth. So, for the same price go buy an ipad:thumbsup:

I bought a lock pick and had to send the first unit back due to a bad connector. Six months after installing the second unit, it started acting erratically, often blanking the screen completely until the truck was restarted. Backup cam came on several times while driving down the highway. I eventually pulled it out. Getting ready to order H&S code.

They have it but it only works with whatever radio they depict the 400 or something. Think it's the nav radio in the 3rd gens and early 4th gens.

I think only for the MM users not XRT. If I'm wrong sign me up. I called them a few months and was told nothing for XRT. I don't or didn't want to keep the think plugged in all the time as time goes on I see the advantages of the MM

I just use my Garmin GPS. It has more up to date maps and is voice controlled so I never even have to touch it. Blows the pants off the stock unit.

how do you bluetooth your ipad sound through your radio?

I know this is old, but has anyone tried doing this through mcc? I haven’t dove deep to look just have used it to make minor adjustments to my current tune. I also have the xrt pro, guess i will be looking a little closer when i get home
