I know it sounds crazy, but check your U-Joints..... Mine did the same thing when my rear U-Joint next to the diff started going out. I was about 40 or 50 Miles from the nearest shop and towing my 5th wheel. I bit the bullet, spent the weekend at the dunes and limped home.....
