I'm not really sure... but you probably won't want to be welding on it, it's that's what you're wondering.

What part of it? Pretty sure it's aluminum casting and the moving parts are alloy steel.

The casing. Would there be any corrosion issues by using a steel M12 x 1/2 JIC fitting
for the inlet?

If the pump itself is aluminum, it will eventually corrode the fitting, yes.

Hey Diesel Dawg,
Yea I,m trying to add a little more fuel to all that air. I'm planning 1/2" drawstraw, 140
micron filter, carter 4601, remote water separator FS1212, and into ip, all connected with 1/2" fuel lines. Any other suggestions?

No I didn't make it . It is kind of difficult, now that I live in Campbell River. I think Harbour Diesel in Nanaimo may put one on so I might check it out.

Hey Diesel Dawg, did you mount the 4601 to the frame? Is it very noisy? I know there is a quiet pack for it but they want $42 at Lordco. Are you using some type of fuel heater?
