[99 cummins 2500]

I was wondering if it would be possible to conver the 99 interior to the 06'-07' interior? Dash and all? :confused013:

you should be able to get the front seats in fine, just maybe having to have new mounting position. the back seat would probably not fit but you could get an upholster to re do the back seat in the same material. as for the dash I'm sure its possible with a lot of modification, but i don't think its worth it

whats wrong with your dash to make you want the 3rd gen dash?

There are a couple who have done it, I'm sure it's a lot of work though..

I was just curious. I like the look and style of the third gen interior but the body if the second. Just a curiosity question lol.

06 and newer would have the true dual din stereo opening which would be awesome for nav options. I had an 05 and wished I could out my nav deck in it and never did. Now I have a 2nd gen and this post caught my attention. Perfect interior would be the 05 seats with the 06 dash.

There was one guy on here who started it not sure if he ever got it done. I know there was a lot of work involved.

Another reason why I was wondering about this is because I am eventually going to get rid of my automatic tranny and put an allison in but I want to have the six speed manual/automatic but with our steering column that wouldn't be possible so I was thinking of changing steering columns at least to the third gen column with the right shifter on it.
