Dyno sheet?

Track times?
Its coming!!!! Dyno Competition in July here. Trying to make it to that.
Dyno sheet?

Track times?
I realise this list is moot without numbers because all one can do is speculate.....................or guess what they would be.

So i will be posting dyno numbers soon. Truck goes into shop June 6th for Scheid Stage 2 upgrade. After that is done i am hitting the dyno. I found a shop in Tacoma that will run me. Just have to make appointment.

Patience please.......................you will get your numbers, then we can have a real discussion about VP 44 power capabilities or lack thereof!!! Sound good?????

That's not entirely true, it usually just also includes two other words like "p7100" and "swap"

@Got Horsepower looking forward to seeing the dyno results, i miss my 02. Part of me wishes i had kept it to keep playing with it and done a P7100 swap on her, but for me my trucks are work trucks and not play things. Maybe one of these days i'll get to build a toy truck

Here is what a single turbo 850 hp vp 44 truck looks and sounds like!!! I fully expect to be at least to this level???

He is running a 71.75 mm single and edge tuning, Sound Familiar????? And Water Methanol!!! Scheid Stage 2 VP.

#311 ·
Reminder...............................i will be setup just like this!!!! Except im pretty sure im spraying more WM???

#13 ·
no but id like to!!!! Ive seen the on Johnny truck, Stainless diesel.

The guy at DDP I've been talking with claims he is making high 800's on fuel and high 900's on spray.85 LPM injectors. Im going to try this method first and if that doesn't produce power we'll examine alternatives!!!!

annihilated a fast street car tonight...........from the stop light..........i booosted to only 10lbs to keep from spinning tires.
it was comical watching hi shift gears and not be able to over take me and once the midrange power took over it was sianara. he backed way off. that was fun. wrx sti or something similar. pulled way ahead.!!!!

#16 ·
out working on water methanol controller trying to get it to work.........driving me nuts!!!

#20 ·
Never got wm controller to turn on. I think I got wiring mixed up. Calling nitrous express Monday for diagram for vc 50 with map sensor.

Hey rhamilton........I replaced alternator and tensioner witn new belt hoping it would fix tC problem And shift into OD.......... that would be a big fat no! So transmission specialist in Algona is getting cal for diagnostic. hopefully it is just TC and OD selonoid or other electronics. If not I've got plans for real trans.

Sonnax intermediate shaft. 6 pinion OD . Firepunk competition rebuild kit. Rebuild TC or new unit. Unless you all have ideas????. Remember I've got billet in and out, 220psi VB, all race clutches. Well see once it's tore down.
I'll accept any any all suggestions!!!!

Oh and got horsepower is not completely inept at repairs.....I did alternator, tensioner and serpentine belt myself. Took a few hours. I had to have my wife pull on breaker bar to get belt seated.....LOL. she did good!!!!

They are especially hard on P Pump conversionists as they make more power and are more adjustable when setup right!!!LOL!!!

Its not hard to get power out of VP. I never understood the migration to P Pump only to watch those ones make the same or less power than their old VP???? LOL!!!

The Challenge is all the fun!!!!

A guy by the name of Steve Troyan. I believe he used to work for BD.
He took my built trans and made it better. In fact after he had it in he did a 25lb boosted launch and snapped the intermediate shaft. He said the have a 20% breakage rate. When he finally tested my truck in 4 wheel drive he said it was a little damp . He launched and said he could barely keep I t on the road. That was at 470hp level.

Ok what I did today. Took off ATS turbo blanket. Painted turbine housing with Cool It Thermo Tec paint as well as the down pipe. I installed black manifold blanket and coated it with Cool It. I am waiting for engineered wrap to get here to wrap downpipe. Installed PDD battery hold downs as I didn't have any. Messed with WM wiring for hours. I need instructions. 2 7 gallon tanks are still full.

That being said I drove like a maniac today. Without edge on its insane. Turn on edge 5x5 it ridiculous.

Another thing I wanted to mention is for some unknown reason it was blowing totally clean exhaust all day. I was perplexed. Even on level 5 getting on it hard it was clear. Not water meth.

All I can think is combination of air from turbo and turbo and exhaust blankets???????

Your guess is as good as mine!!!???? I am going to strip paint off turbo and polish it.

If I hadn't bout my dad's Ford work truck I had my eye on 2 VP 44 4x4 trucks. Hard to pass up $3000 for a work truck.

I will offer that I have an ability to know what parts will complment each other. I don't know where it comes from. Possibly Bi-polar disorder and attention hyperactivity disorder???? Always had it! I thought about getting a license plate that said Bi-Polar!!!lol!!!

got my eye on a couple big turbos for compound setup. HX 82 100mm inducer 130mm exducer or seververal different 88mm turbos.although i am not sure they will get me or closet to 1000hp. Like i said i would prefer to do it with water methanol not nitrous.to turn HX 82 I will need to big injectors from Dynomite????. Its already got big power feel. after you get on it it idles funny and blows blue smoke. tell tale sign of big power.

#43 ·
ill check it out. the only reason i considered hx turbo was i saw a guy running a Fenly forced inductions turbo(hx), he was the video i posted. I checked them out and he specializes in custom HX turbos.

1,000,000......................really anything above 900 with one caveot, no nitrous!

June 6th truck goes to Outlaw Diesel Repair(he is only about 3 miles from my house) for, pump upgrade, ground shipping as i don't want to pay a billion dollars for overnight air. Also having Redhead steering box put on and track bar. 1 more thing.....blinker, wiper control. Truck will be 100% after all that! Well except for the stupid things, door locks, AC, Heat pump............those thing are secondary to performance mods! LOL!!!

Water methanol fixed!!!!

Ground wire was broken!!!!
