For all who want to see what it takes to make power with a VP truck here is the combination of parts i have accumulated over a number of years. Hopefully you can gain some insight after looking over what I have put together to make alot of power. Not bragging simply sharing!

I think thats it????? I could be forgetting something??? Trans obviously has to be built to handle that!!!
Dyno numbers with hurt tranny 691/1285(Single Turbo)
I realise this list is moot without numbers because all one can do is speculate.....................or guess what they would be.
So i will be posting dyno numbers soon. Truck goes into shop June 6th for Scheid Stage 2 upgrade. After that is done i am hitting the dyno. I found a shop in Tacoma that will run me. Just have to make appointment.
Patience please.......................you will get your numbers, then we can have a real discussion about VP 44 power capabilities or lack thereof!!! Sound good?????
That's not entirely true, it usually just also includes two other words like "p7100" and "swap"
@Got Horsepower looking forward to seeing the dyno results, i miss my 02. Part of me wishes i had kept it to keep playing with it and done a P7100 swap on her, but for me my trucks are work trucks and not play things. Maybe one of these days i'll get to build a toy truck

Well as of yesterday my truck became a play truck. I will no longer be using it for work as my father retired and I bought his survey crew rig which is all setup with work box and tonneau(I dont know how to spell this LOL!) cover to protect equipment.
Would be better if you had several dyno runs, throughout the build to see what each piece or collection added and did, but i don't think anyone ever complains about seeing results
annihilated a fast street car tonight...........from the stop light..........i booosted to only 10lbs to keep from spinning tires.
it was comical watching hi shift gears and not be able to over take me and once the midrange power took over it was sianara. he backed way off. that was fun. wrx sti or something similar. pulled way ahead.!!!!
Hey rhamilton........I replaced alternator and tensioner witn new belt hoping it would fix tC problem And shift into OD.......... that would be a big fat no! So transmission specialist in Algona is getting cal for diagnostic. hopefully it is just TC and OD selonoid or other electronics. If not I've got plans for real trans.
Sonnax intermediate shaft. 6 pinion OD . Firepunk competition rebuild kit. Rebuild TC or new unit. Unless you all have ideas????. Remember I've got billet in and out, 220psi VB, all race clutches. Well see once it's tore down.
I'll accept any any all suggestions!!!!
Oh and got horsepower is not completely inept at repairs.....I did alternator, tensioner and serpentine belt myself. Took a few hours. I had to have my wife pull on breaker bar to get belt seated.....LOL. she did good!!!!
A guy by the name of Steve Troyan. I believe he used to work for BD.
He took my built trans and made it better. In fact after he had it in he did a 25lb boosted launch and snapped the intermediate shaft. He said the have a 20% breakage rate. When he finally tested my truck in 4 wheel drive he said it was a little damp . He launched and said he could barely keep I t on the road. That was at 470hp level.

You could ask Google this morning for that diagram.
I have the first generation of a Meth kit. Two wires and a boost signal.
Or I'd be able to offer up more help.
