I downloaded the new app update for my phone, and went online to link the accounts. That all worked. But when I went to the truck NO DICE....

Is this working for some people?

I got my Pandora linked but can't find it on connect. Any ideas? It says it only for 14s and I have a 13

Looks like the geniuses at Chrysler didn't test their updated DriveUconnect.com website because it doesn't work with Windows 8.1 / IE 11 - you now have to download a download manager and after installing it it's supposed to call the DM and download the file but at least on IE 11 it doesn't. What a POS!!

Aaaaand it doesn't work in Chrome either. GREAT!

FIGURED IT OUT.

Here's what I had to do. Found this over on a different forum.

In IE through the "Gear" menu, add chrysler.com, driveuconnect.com, and akamai.com to compatibility view. I was then able to download the file.

This worked perfectly... File downloading now. Thanks Man...

Any why dont they have this on the website for folks to do this?? They probably could use a new web team... That website looks like its from the 90's anyways.

Ok so I updated the software in the truck.... The via mobile shows in the uconnect store, however I am unable to download the individual via mobile apps, it dosent even show them?

Edit..... After about 15-20 mins the apps just showed up... I didn't have to initiate a download of them... Perhaps they were downloading in the background?

Anyways.... Now I go to one of the apps and it launches, but then says i do not have an active subscription. It says to go to the uconnect store to renew my subscription. ???? Frustrating to say the least

Which USB port do u plug into? The dash or the media center in the center console

I just updated my UConnect. Used the USB port in the center console. Same results as above (no actual Pandora app in the Uconnect apps list yet. I'm sitting in my truck waiting for them to automagically show up.

Also listening to the radio while I'm waiting. Seeing if the AUX issue comes back :)

Okay guys.... I was on the phone with UConnect tech support... After the update it will take some time for the apps to show up automatically. (for me it was mayne 10-15 mins).

However, once they showed up I was getting a subscription error.

Tech support had me log in and out of the app on my phone, that did not work (but she said for some people it did work)

On the app (for iphone at least) there is a green light in the via mobile part of the app. When the app is connected correctly its green, when its communicating it turns blue, if you see a red light its bad.

In the end to get it to work, I had to go into the uconnect store app. Go to the My Apps button, then remove and re install apps. This worked and corrected my problems. Basically it cleared out all apps, re installed and refreshed the subscription information on the radio.

Its a pretty cool feature set to say the least. I only tried the IHeartRadio, and it was a nice interface. I will have to play around with it more to see how all the apps work.

My phone app has had a green light next to via Mobile the whole time. Hmm.

Ok so I went into the UConnect Store app like you said and went into its settings and told it to reinstall apps. Then it have me a message saying "Apps reinstalled. Radio will restart shortly." with an OK button. Pressing OK just returns to the settings screen. Did you manually restart your radio?

Oh and when I tried to get tech support via the "ASSIST" app it said I didn't have a Uconnect Access Subscription... Not sure if that was the same error you got with your "via" apps.

It restarted the radio on its own, I had to go back into the apps screen. It took maybe 10-15 mins for the app information do re-load.

At first you will see the UConnect Subscription button. Once it desappears the apps will start to load, the first was Yelp.

No, I received my no subscription error after I tried to launch one of the apps such as pandora.

I too called uconnect via the assist feature in the truck. but that worked fine.

Hmm my radio never restarted itself. By the way I was doing all of this with the key just in the Acc position (truck not running). I don't know if that matters.

I just got off the phone with the UConnect guy and he said the system has been real slow tonight due to lots of people updating/downloading. I'm just gonna go to bed and see if anything new appears in the morning. It will be nice to see what the Pandora app looks like (currently I just use the Pandora app on the iPhone).
