What are you guys using to hook the 2 returns together?

You don't. Oil drains must be separate

well i'm not really wanting to pull the pan to weld a piece on so i'm trying to see what other folks are using to connect the 2

you could see if you have the motor with the plug. and just buy the nipple that will fit right in

Hardly anyone Tees the two together. Most people use a punch to punch a hole in the pan and JB weld the bung to the pan.

Or its not that hard to drop the pan, most oil pan gaskets leak at this age anyways.

That is generally what you do but I don't think the 12v's are setup with the extra drain hole in the block

there's a few ways to do it....i just drilled mine on the truck , flushed it a couple times with used oil and got a little magnet in there to get any excess filings, then welded a bung in the pan , on the truck....i just did a little stitch at a time and let it cool a few minutes in between. no problems, no leaks....
