After searching and searching I finally found the 2006 2500 (they are hard to come by down bere in South Texas) and I traded my 2011 3500 for it. It had only one problem which I thought was going to be simple but apparently not. I have read this same problem on other forums by doing a google search and there was only a bunch of comments but no solution. When you turn the turn signals on they start out normal for about 5 or six flashes and then they start going fast. The truck has LED projectors on it and all lights are functioning when you walk around to see if any are out. The wiring is not lose either. Any ideas out there?:confused013:

Grounded out somewhere maybe?
That was a problem I had on another truck before.

my would click fast from the get go and there was no light flashing like there should be. this problem persisted for about a month and then magically, everything started working again. haven't had a problem since. VERY STRANGE I was very happy about it though because the computer that would have needed replaced in the steering column is not cheap. luck happens I guess

Corroded battery cables can cause things to act up that you wouldnt even imagine it would affect on these trucks. Terminals clear?
Next I would clean the multi-function switch. Even if its not the problem, at some point you're going to have to do it anyway. Ive done it to both my 06's.

I did have to replace both of my batteries shortly after the problem quit. one was D E D dead and the other wasn't worth keeping. but it fixed itself before the new batteries so hopefully its something easy not the multi switch.

Try removing, and then reseating the bulb/bulbs.
