All well thank you Whitmore ...

that chargers slated to be coming off and sent to HTT for a conversion ,,

When my ATS pluse maniflod gets here im putting my stock HY35 back on for a crutch till I get my Hx40 ??? is that what it will be called ? Either that or an Hx35 Hybred not sure ..... its suppose to be a $200 bomb thats all I know for now

Guys who are getting ready to do a swap be sure to have an extra oil return gasket on hand ,,, I got mine from EEP like 59 Cents

Get some good Rust cutter also for the down pipe bolts ,,,

or clamp .... any one know what year they switched from Clamp style down pipe to bolt style ??

Im getting ready to put my Piers 40 on (when the htt arrives) Is there any priming you have to do to the new turbo? or have I been hearing things?

Ah I hate the anticipation!!:fist:

Excellent point Ian...........I always leave the oil inlet line off for the very last thing, then I take some new motor oil and pour a small stream in while turning the charger pinwheel, I like to do it this way just to make sure she is lubed up and ready to go, the bearings will love ya for it............oh dont forget to put the oil line and filter inlet hose on after that :peelout

Chaz "proTWINturbo" had a new one with the turbo so Im set. just bugging out waiting on the manifold:hyper: then its manifold, turbo, exhaust time :woot:

QUICK question

I went to the dealer to buy a manifold/turbo steel gasket and its NOT like what HTT or ATS has there is no two seperate ports just one big opening.... what do I run the dealer part or HTT?!?!? on Whitmores install on DDD.com it shows altercation to the ports to line up with the gasket... wel what if I use the open gasket will that save me the "trim job"?

thats true. but why would the dealer part be different? in exageration (sp) its the same parts going on the truck so the gasket should be the same all around? right?

I plan on using all HTT parts. I was just shocked when they handed the gasket over at the dealer. like wtf is this? there should be 2 ports :Complain: but I just paid the 4 dollars and went about my way.

I say we prank Whitmore. he needs to be up its only 230am

Its not really the same parts ,,,,, think of it as a Bomb that may be heavier or lighter ,,,and in these cases Some OEM replacements may require slight alterations to acustom the after market part ... these OEM replacements are supplied with the new part .

Good Rule of thumb but theres always exceptions

All the gaskets I seen had 2 holes
