hey guys. i got the question of....how do i make my turbo whistle more/ louder? and any suggestions ow what kind of intake i should get?

Take the silencer ring out of the turbo. Link below

can u just take it out and keep it out. how long does this take? and how much louder and i guess more does it whistle

get a new intake...it will be loud then...or better yet just take your intake off comletely and let it run open turbo...it will scream

right now im runnin a stock airbox yet i dont know what kind of intake i should get. any [email protected] vs. AEM??

take the silencer ring out permanently its only purpose is to make the turbo quiet then get a bhaf you will love it

im new with this bhaf? big honking air filter?? and do u mean just get this ant attach it directly to the turbo. it will be like a filter sticking out of the other end of the turbo? then just keep the airbox and everythin out? is there a power difference. and itt whistles like mad??

i went with the aem brute force and sliencer ring gone. sounds like my hook is getting sucked in.. lol yeh.. people sure look too...hahah

yes. There are many different ways to do it. I just got a K&N filter and put on my stock tube.

I don't have a heat shield. So idk if its better or not. But as for brands of filters, its personal preference

BHAF

Take the stock airbox out and put the filter in where it was. You can create a heat shield and use a pre filter cover from outerwears. Link to templete is CumminsDatabase.com :: BHAF

The ice box is an excellent custom made cold air intake. Icebox Manufacturing Talk to John (jbarker on cumminsforum site) at Holland Court Diesel Holland Court Diesel Sales. When I am ready to upgrade I will be going with one.

Yep. Make sure the BHAF isn't rubbing any hoses. And gut any 'vanes' or other obstructions inside the toob between the BHAF and turbo. (I'm not as familiar with what might be on the 2nd gens).

hmmm. so no heat guard is ok. n take out the silencer ring. n just go to napa....that will work. any power gaIN?
