I have been told that there is a timer that can be installed, so you can turn off the diesel ignition, and the engine will keep running, then shut off when the turbo stops? Is this right ?? HELP:confused013:
There are turbo timers built into a lot of the programmers that will allow you to let the engine run after the ignition is turned off for either a set amount of time or until the exhaust gas temps get below a set level. I have the edge race w/ attitude and that's how mine works.
I don't think the turbo ever stops moving even when your truck is idling. It just doesn't build any boost at idle.
