Hey guys im looking to get a 63/68 or a 64/71 and I was wondering what you guys think about these. What kind of hp can I get with proper mods. What size injectors. Will the stock valve springs hold up with the upgrades? And I know I will need studs.

I was runnin a II silver bullet with just studs, jwa and some jammer 150's wiith a stage 2 snow perf kit and got 556hp. stock springs seemed fine. 64/71 will be fine with some 200's just plan on manually shifting the truck when towing a heavy load. It will be fun though.

stock valves tend to start having issues around 45psi IIRC. start to float unless you get a heavier spring in there.

I just want to have a fun truck to drive around 500hp. That I don't have to put a lot of money into. I have been looking at the silver bullets preferably. Either the 64/74 or the 62/80 also. If I kept the waste gates set at 40-45 think I will be fine with stock springs? Thanks guys for the input.

I should be in the 500's with my charger and injector setup. still have the ability to pull heavy loads with ease.

lol +1. kinda got stuck with mine last minute. Diesel Auto Power has the Screamin Eagle 63/68/14. Borg Warner frame, and good price.
