I am getting injectors and a turbo....i was thinking 100hp injectors and a BD Super B turbo. just wondering who makes quality/affordable injectors and what you guys think of this combo.

I would talk to the guys at Coaltrain Diesel Performance. They have been awesome to me so far and i havent even bought anything from them yet. They are a sponsor so look them up and talk to Mark or Richard

before you start talking turbo and injectors, i would personally take that jessup tune off and purchase either an adrenaline or an edge comp. and with the turbo upgrade you are speaking of, i would think about going bigger with the injectors. like said above, give mark or richard a shout at coaltrain, they will get you set up right. if it were me i would go with either a sps62 or a HTT 62 turbo and some 150hp sticks but thats just me. and a new box would tie all that together beautifully!!

You can also talk to Jason over at DNM Diesel Nut Motorsports, real great guy. When I do my turbo and sticks we are gonna run some 150s and a BD super B. He said that setup would be awesome.

oh an i forgot to mention, if you are wanting to go with more around 100hp injector like you said earlier, mark and richard at coaltrain can get you set up with a hx35/40 hybrid turbo for alot cheaper than a new one, and that would word fine with some 100hp injectors

you could also run a fat shaft 62, that would work pretty good with some 150s

Whats wrong with the jessup tune? its timing and fuel delivery just the same as the programmers....just no adjustability....but id be kiddin myself i said i wouldnt always have a programmer on the highest setting....

and which is better, edge or adrenaline?

i was just figurin on 100's because i dont want to get too low on my fuel mileage but at the same time, i want a strong running truck....i was going to stick with the hx35 but since i found oil in the compressor side, i figured it would be a good time to start looking for an upgrade lol

At least with a module you can adjust the smoke output but then again you said you would run thwe box on its highest setting all the time :w:

Edge or Adrenaline? With the Comp you get the good old fashioned adjustable power levels as you do with the Adrenaline but with the Quad you can download custom tunes as well.

100's will be just fine with a Super B. If you wanted to step up from there, go with a Super Phat Shaft 62 which will give you room to grow. :thumbsup

how would runnin just 100's on my stock hx35 be? i am sure i would have to watch egts a little closer, would i get any milaeg increase?...of course this is after a clutch...........not hijacking, just saw u said u were thinkin about runnin it with your stock turbo and it sparked a thought for my truck

Not bad but you do have to watch egts if box is turned all the way up because they can climb fast if its turned down or off no problems at all. I run tst/ smarty stack and tst below level 4 its ok but above that its drive by egt. Im i need of exhaust and a turbo upgrade so i can fully enjoy it.

I was wondering the same thing. About running 100's, but i was wondering how much gain i would see in running a 35/40 hybrid instead of keeping the stock 35? I want something that will keep egt's down and give me a little gain. The price of them helps a little bit too :thumbsup.
