Alright, I currently have a Aurora 3000(59/65/.85AR) turbo with 4" downpipe which flows 65lbs/min. It spools quick and does great in the hills of kentucky, but it seems like it dont pull hard after about 55to 65mph. the turbo builds about 47psi too quick and I need something to have a little more top end. I was thinking of a Cheetah Hx35/40 stage II Hybrid. I've seen several people pull around 450hp with them, but then I was also thinking about the 62/65/12. What would all of you think about my setup and what would work best.

You might contact Aurora and see if they'll do an upgrade and give you credit on your compressor wheel and housing.

I'm on the other side of the fence. I have the Aurora 4000 and I think its too laggy, or I'm just expecting too much. I have been contemplating a HTT 62/65/13SS or 14 to get a better spool up. On Clunks idea, I talked to a guy named Mike at ATS about the A4K and he seemed very open to switching housings to make it spool faster, so you may give talking to ATS a try. Once A4K lights up though it pulls like mad...

Yeah, the A3k pulls extremely hard untill about 70mph then it drops off. I can get the cheetah for about $1000 and the 62 can be had for around $1700. I"ll call ats tomorow and see what they can do. thanks everybody

I talked to Fleece about the Cheetah and they didn't even reccommend it with the mods in my sig. I also talked to FTE Diesel in Ohio about High Tech Turbos. They shot me some pretty good prices on the HTB2 62/65/XX.

Weve had better luck as far as performance and durability with our S363/68/.88 in a T4 housing. Our intentions with this charger is to replace the Holset Hybrids...

I would say something in the lines of a 62/68/14 would be more inline with what you are wanting. Or put a S475 below the one you've got for twins!:party018:

I think the S363 is what was recommended to me.

The catalog ATS sent when I bought the turbo says:

Compressor Wheel: Inducer 63mm, Exducer 92.28mm
Exhaust Wheel: Inducer 76.43mm, Exducer 70.14mm

The 4K performs great as it is intended. I don't really compete with my truck so I would like something that responds a little faster for daily driving. The one time I did hook to the sled, the 4K was excellent. It held around 45lbs all the way down the track, and egt was about 1400 at WOT. I also think it may be just a little more than I really need for my mods.
