well i am gathering the parts i am going to need to make more hp.i am looking at a #10 fuel plate and 75-100hp injectors. that should be making around 350-400 hp so my question is what size turbine housing should i put on the stock hx35? 12cm-14cm-16cm?i will also be adding a 60mm compressor housing with a 6 blade impeller.

also i have an exhaust brake on the truck. will i be able to keep it, or will i have to build an adapter?

The choice is up to you. I have a 16cm, but wouldn't mind having a 18.5 from a 1st gen. 12 spools fastest, but 21 flows the most. I think 12 and 14 are the only sized you can get internally wastegated (even if its only half gated ) For the most part the larger the housing the less boost it will make for the same amount of air (generally a good thing as you only want 35-40)

You have to slide the exhaust forward 1" if the housing is the short and non-gated style. You can get 12 and 14 non-gated long versions that I know of. Other than adjusting some of my pipe connections in somewhat funky ways my e-brake works fine

ive got a 16 going back to stock
