Well technically, TST will work on 06.5-07s...

So if you want to melt it down and get a fully built engine, by all means throw a TST onto it. Uncontrollable EGTs will melt stuff pretty quick

Ive been asking them for 3 years if they will ever have anything out that works on the 06.5-07 trucks, and keep being told its a couple months away. Im waiting. Hopefully one day before too long my wishes will come true and I can throw a TST on mine

So I take it stacking is pretty much pointless with the Smarty given the fact you can adjust IT, RP, etc..? Why would someone disable the timing on a tune but then put a box on to add timing? Does the box typically have more timing?

with the TST you are able to fine tune the RP in 1k increments. You have different timing settings you can also play with, +3,+6,+9 & +12 IIRC. Plus it has the turbo timer & egt limits for defueling so you can protect your motor from a potential meltdown.

I have one of these out in the garage waiting for a re-flash, it is an awesome box, a little quirky because of noise but other than that, an awesome box. Once I get it re-flashed, I will be stacking it with my smarty...
