Hey guys. 99 2500 auto 4x4. I've had a tst powermax 3 that came with my truck and since I've put on the gauges I see I'm getting about 15psi boost. Can't find any info if this is normal or it should be higher. That seems like stock boost pressure right? There also seems to be no noticeable difference when I increase the power level. What do y'all think? Is my map sensor on its way out? No dtc's stored

Thats a little low. You will need a boost fooler to get it over 20psi.

I guess the question is, is that something the powermax should do? It does have a boost light on the box

It has a boost fooler in it. Your turbo needs a boost elbow. I have a tst pm3 and you can tell when it fuels.

I'd also check for boost leaks.

You've got issues with the TST if you can't feel a difference between it being on and being off. It's night and day. Start with the power and ground wires, making sure they are connected properly. Then check to make sure the MAP is plugged in properly. Last make sure the wiretap is connected by checking if the wire has 12V with the key on.
