I will be ordering an MP-8 this week and was wondering what the fuel rail plug is that you can buy seperate. I remember reading something about this, but couldn't find the thread. Doesn't it have something to do with stacking?

yes you only want the plug if your not stacking. If you use the plug and stack you can blow your injectors with to much pressure!
What he said. With what you are running you need to shim the fuel rail.

Is it pretty hard to install the TS MP-8 ? Going on a 2007 cummins 6.7

What exactly is involved? Anyone know of a shop near Columbia, MO that can put one in?

You need to shim it. The plug is only used if you are not stacking.

ok, there is an electrical connection on the back of the fuel rail. That is where the MP-8 Plugs into and changes the Rail Pressure readings. The shimming is done on the Fuel Relief Valve on the front of the fuel rail. You can use a plug in place of the Fuel relief valve if you are not stacking but there is no relief so if 2 boxes raise the rail pressure it puts it over the Max PSI. Not a good thing.
