I have an alpine alarm in my truck, it was in it when I bought it. It has a remote start system. The other day while me and the kids were fishing, I had the keys sitting on my tackle box, and know for a fact no one pushed the start button, and the damn truck started by itself. I pushed the brake, and it did it again a few seconds later. It kept this up until I pulled a fuse from a fuse holder, at random, wasnt sure what the fuse went too, I just pulled it, and it stopped the truck from starting by itself, nothing else was affected. Any ideas what caused this? Thanks.

you may have a relay for remote starter that is stuck. I have seen the one for the starter stick and burned up the starter.
