I'm running efi live and on my mileage tune get passed 1350, today at wide open throttle they easily climbed to 1600? So I turned it to my hot tune and my egts quickly hit 2000 before I let out of it, I've never seen my egts get passed 1750 before ever. Anyone have any ideas what's causing the change or causing it to run so hot?

Possible injector failure. Or charge air leak.

By charge air leak do you mean a turbo leak? my boost pressure seems to be the same as always and I can't detect anymore smoke then normal

2000 degrees?? Is that possible without damage? Maybe a gauge or probe problem?

I'm really hoping I have a faulty probe also, however I'm running an edge probe with insight monitor and can't find much about them ever having problems online

Change the probe, and if that don't work feed it more air! Still loving my Cheetah. Pulled 8K up some serious hills with the edge on 2/5 and the highest I seen was 1300*F for a very brief moment. Pulling on level ground my temp. was 650*F, same as when I am not towing.

She's going to get more air just have to save up the money first! I'm just trying to figure the unexplained sudden change, The truck never got over 1700 degrees ever now it hits2000 at half throttle on tune 5. I think it has to be the probe. But then again my cruise temps are normal 60mph is about 550 degrees, idles around 275

Maybe try updating your edge insight monitor, if that doesn't do it change the probe..

My 06 with just a bully dog set on tow could snag 1300 easy. On extreme 1600* was a cake walk within a hundred feet. That's with a 5" exhaust and aftermarket intake horn. I'm switching to efi live and hoping for better results. But mine will idle around 400
