some dedicated puller might read this (or if you go to the pullin' forum) but with a stock clutch I dont know what to tell you. From everything i have read with 4.11 and a 5 speed start in low range 3rd gear.

Ya, if you have 4.10 and some power 3rd and low. If you dont have too much power 2nd might get you a little farther, also if you have 3.55.

I would recomend getting a better clutch on its way, and have a trailer ready incase you cant drive it home. Probably 3rd low and dont ride the clutch unless you really like the smell.

my stock clutch....i went in 4th gear but i've never seen so much smoke come from a clutch. unless you have a DD on order...i'd wait. that thing will slip and smoke to matter what. i've seen it happen to stock trucks.

Personally, I wouldn't attempt pulling with stock clutch. I've been down that road already. If you are gonna do it anyways, don't try boosting off of the line. Pull out like you are pulling out from a stop sign with a trailer & gun it when you start moving. I would run 3rd low.

I was planning on upgrading to the Valair 13" clutch...Any thoughts on that...My truck is my daily drive, just want to have sum fun pullin'...
You might want to seriously consider what you are about to undertake... If you need this as a daily driver there is a decent probablility you will take your clutch out making your daily driver into a daily walker. If you are going to do the clutch, then do it first. Break the new clutch in before you pull too.
