maybe ya got a 53 block and its a small crack and water is seaping out. kinda like a gasser if oyu have a pinhole in hte radiator hose it can over heat and sometimes you will never see faulking leak.when the truck is at 190 try to squeeze the top hose if it is solid then you have no leaks but if it is all spongy hten you got a air leak into the system somewhere that is your problem

I have a cracked 53 block & have been driving it for about a month now with the crack & the hightst temp I have seen is 201. It may be a sticking T-stat or bad water pump??? Good luck hope you get it figured out
