I got windows, too, but when it's 110 outside I'll keep the a/c!
The crap that blocks the airflow on the radiator is inside the fan shroud area, search for some pics. If it isn't the tstat start planning to pull the rad and give it a GOOD cleaning. not too tough, just a little time consuming.
