atf 4 and look in your manual for the specs of how much... amsoil makes it along with several other companies...
trany and transfercase fluid help..
like it said.. i need to know what kind of fluid you put in both and how much of each.. i just replaced 5th gear.. thanks for the info...

ATF in the t-case, I use Dexron III
Use only Castrol Syntorq (not Syntech) or Amsoil MTG in the tranny.
Only Dodge and GM dealers sell Syntorq
Even though other manufacturers say their fluid will work in the tranny it's not true.
Most will slowly eat your syncros like acid.
Moving this to the 24 valve forum for more responses.
