Sorry. Got a good deal on 05 3500. With some transmission issues. Looks like 2nd gear doesn’t catch right off it seems like. It is an automatic trans. Willing to put money into it. I want to used to haul weekends.

2nd is a weak area on these transmissions with a few key parts you can make them much stronger.
I had mine rebuilt a while back with a Suncoast Cat 1 kit and Dynamic Transmission HD Towing VB.

We normally recommend a new replacement from a reputable shop such as randy's revmax suncoast. Reason being is that way you get a nice warranty and you know it's done right. i have seen a lot of customers get theirs rebuilt and when there is a warranty issue they try to get out of it or blame something that wasn't replaced. Generally you are only a couple grand away from being to get into a full replacement anyway so to me it's definitely worth the extra to do that.

Holler if you have any questions as we are happy to help and sell and install quite a few transmissions here at our shop.

What I have:

Pick your poison. Better check the coolers because if they are compromised with clutch material, they are no good. I replaced both of mine. Mine is the billet from converter to output shaft from BDD. Cannot find the link now, but it was high dollar, less $2K in coolers.
