I was looking to swap out the 5 spd tranny in a 99 for a 6spd, but was told that it cannot be done due to the different input shafts. is this true. or can it be done with some tranny work.

99 had the small shaft just like the 4500. Still need the fly wheel and different drive shafts, and a few other little things.
