im throwing a code for gov. pressure above 3 psi when vehicle speed is 0....transmission is starting to shift goofy...... i think its time for a new one but money is kind of a problem now after spending 2g's in mods.....any one have any ideas of solution.......thanks- mike

if im thinking correctly, there is a governor pressure reglator in the valve body, its on the passenger side wth a plug in on it, you may want to check that, at the worst i think you may need a new valve body (<$400 i think) im not positive on this though, im sure someone on here will correct meopcorn:

change out the pressure transducer on the valve body and flush the fluid

if you change the gov pressure switch you also need to change the transducer switch these need to read the same voltage i picked up both of them at the dealership just over 200 bucks. napa selles them cheaper. after i changed mine it shifted great.

thanks alog guys....well im getting ready to roll 100k and the truck is parked and in in the process of buying a after market warranty....what have u guys heard about those......36 month 36000 mile warranty for 1700 full coverage

Warranty = crap, general matinence which you need to do anyway will make sure you don't have problems. Shops will always try to find a way to get out of anything.
