truck will go in reverse and move just fine but put it in drive and it is like the brakes are locked up and it dies. I can raise the rpm up when I put it in drive and get it to move but it feel like the brakes are on, but reverse is just fine. My daughter was using it when this started and i found it about 2 quats low on trans fluid. I have had the truck for three years and never needed to and any.Hoped that was it but it wasn't. Any ideas besides the trany is shot?
You didn't by any chance get pulled home by another truck did you? Sounds like a seized up tranny but if you weren't then drop your rear driveshaft out of the rear and spin the rear tires and make sure it's not the rear chunk.
