transmission problem

hey I have 2008 dodge cummins 6.7. I was driving home and everything was working well. I put in park and went inside for few hours. came back out and the truck wont go forward or reverse anymore. it just goes to 2000 rpm when push on gas pedal. it creeps slowly in 4 low. any suggestions?

check engine light come on?

try putting it in another gear with the selector switch on the shifter.

Sounds like you blew your gears up. my buddy had the same thing but he blew it because of 4-Lo.
