i bought my 03 CTD in october of 2007 i drove it 1.5 months and boom, 2nd gear went bye bye:$:

i got if fixed and the day b4 good friday this year boom agian.. warranty cover that one

it took the guy 17 days to get it back to me and i drove it 30 miles and you guess it.. something else went wrong.. the TC would not unlock and the guy that "fixed" it did not want to touch it so he just give me my money back

so i trailered it to Aamco and they "fixed" it and in one week reverse and OD went bye bye... they said the company sent them the wrong size shaft

so i got it back this last time and the owner of Aamco told me that it was built to the best of their ability but guess what???

when it shifts from 2to3 it slips but not all the time so i brought it back to aamco and told them what it was doing and all they did was check it to a scanner... like that will tell them whats in the pan.. idiots... they WOULD NOT drop the pan and the manager told me not to be so paranoid... and that nothing is wrong with it and just drive it...

so i left there and went to my buddies shop and he smelt the trans fluid and he give me 3 weeks till boom...AGAIN:CRY: every other time he has diagnosed it it has been 100% right... so what is i to do.. im so pissed at dealing with these trans. guys...

and pls dont say should have bought a gorend or suncoast bc i know this now but at the time of all the trouble i didnt know about them...

need help fast.. pls

not mention it pulses when i am going down my driveway, it slips, it rattles at idle, and when it goes into OD sometimes it goes from 3-4 4-3 3-4 all within a second.

Are you still under a warranty from Aamco? If so take it to them and tell them either fix it properly or you will take it to Suncoast and send them the bill.

You don't want to hear it but you need to take it to a tranny shop that knows what they're doing... ie, Goerend, Suncoast, etc...

Take it to 'Universal Diesel' in Sulphur. Those guys know what they're doing. They can fix you right up. Or if you can't afford it they should be able to tell you what's wrong with it.

drive it til it breaks and theyll have to pay for it

theyc ant charge you for that and make you pay...the permanent solution would be to get a billt tranny that has a huge warranty on it

You may just have to bite the bullet and spend the coin with HTS or Goerend. They will both get it done right the first time

Sounds like you've got some crappy tranny builders in your area. I know you don't wanna hear it again but have one of the pro's build it (DTT, Goerend, Suncoast, HTS) and be done with it.

tell amco to give your money back or fix it period and if they say it is fine tell them you will seek legal help because you should get what you pay for
