Transmission differences
Just a quick one. Is there any difference between the transmissions on 2wd and 4x4 trucks? Would the automatic trans from a 95' 2wd fit a 95' 4x4?

the tail housing will be different..... 4x4 will have output shaft and flange for a Tcase.... the 2wd trans will not have the flange... just a tailhousing for a slipyoke and a different output shaft. if you know any buddies that rebuild trannies, making it work can be dun... but u gotta swap around. Ive seen it dun and it works... but doing it yourself = pITA unless u can do auto work.
