I have a fully built goerend trans with dd pan and it seems that I am running on the hot side. Normal driving I am around 185-200. But I hit some city driving I see the temps get up to around 240. Now I am not a 100% sure if the temp was accurate because the pan came with a trans sensor and Im running a mechanial gauge. I use to have the test port tapped for the pulse but I was leaking fluid and removed it. It was usually 30+ degrees cooler than the pan temp. Do I need to put on an aftermarket trans-cooler? I saw BD had a nice one that turned on at a certain temp. I am looking at getting a cooler line trans temp port or one of those acutemp things that clamp on so I can get my pulse back up and reading again. Just trying to see what I can do to cool this beast down a bit.

I am just running my smarty at fuel ecomony and no adrenaline.
