is it worth it to get an aftermarket trans pan? i found a pan made by derale which is reasonably priced, hold more fluid, has cooling fins and a drain plug. or should i just install a drain plug on my factory pan?
Unless you tow a lot or live in a very hot climate where you do a lot of stop/go driving then i personally feel they are not needed. Ive welded plugs/drains in a lot of stock pans.
