goin to be putting in my gauges soon and i bought the hot line with the gauge port in it for the trans temp sender. how much fluid am i goin to lose when i pull the old line off? im thinkin it cant be more than a couple qaurts because most of the fluid will be either in the pan or torque converter, but just want to know for sure so i can have some new fluid on hand if needed.
I lost a little under a quart. Remove the upper end (at cooler) first. There are two nuts on the bottom end (tranny) connection. Only remove the outer nut. Use two wrenches.
