hey guys i just got my transgo shift kit i was just about to put it in and then i read a few other threds on other peoples truck and got looking my truck is a early 03 with what must be a 47re ? thinking the truck had 48re i orderd the shift kit for that ughhhhhh and then the question i had was i went to get a tranny pan gasket and there was an option of 14 or 15 bolt witch one would it be ?.......not that im going to need it untill i get the new shift kit now ughh :banghead:

How did you decide that you have a 47re? If I understand this correct with the 03 if you have a HO you have a 48 if you have a SO you will probably have a 47

yeah mines the early 03 SO so im sure its the 47 i was looking at some other threads and my 8th number in my vin is 6

i was reading some where on this fourm of a guy who adjusted a screw in the tranny (must be on the govener) to up the line pressure has anyone done this?

I am guessing that the Transgo Shift Kit in your signature is Premature:confused013:

Yes there is an adjustment screw on the valve body and when you put in your shift kit you will adjust it to the new springs they will include in the kit form there you could adjust, with a gauge I hope if more pressure is needed

haha yeah i went ahead and put the shift kit in my sig because i was saposed to get it put in that day haha
