So i just added an xrt and did the EGR/Cooler delete as well. I can easily get my tranny temps up to 180 in not to long of a time. I also tow 16,000 lbs daily. Any recommendations for a quality tranny cooler. I had a derale and was not to impressed. Suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

I wouldnt worry about hitting 180* though. I could hit 230+ before the cooler and have seen as high as 190* with the cooler on a long slow offroad mountain climb. With the cooler it usually stays about 150* to 170*

thanks for the quick reply! so did you use this cooler in conjunction with your stock cooler? and do you have a link of where you got your cooler at?

yep run it with the stock one then wired a switch in the cab. I turn it on when the trans temp get too hot and it cools it to normal temp in no time.

I had mine done by Art Carr at California Performance Transmission. He did the one on my prerunner and it worked so well I had to get on on my dodge.
