It shouldn't take longer than a full day to pull and reinstall your trans, with parts on hand. If they are busy doing other things, it might have to be left overnight, but shouldn't take longer than that.

I did mine by myself with a floor jack...input shaft, VB, flex, tq, and clutch plates at the same time. It took me 11 hours but I have never pulled a trans. before. So a shop that does it everyday, shouldn't take half that time. I think normally it takes about 1.5 to 2 hrs to pull one. Depends if you have one ready to go in or need to rebuild the existing one. That is where you lose all your time.
